PROFILE
Born in Montreal, Mtre Ravinsky started his law career at a well known Montreal based law firm specialising in tax law, where he was an associate for four years and a partner for seven years.
In 1992, he founded the firm of Ravinsky Ryan Lemoine along with Mtre Paul Ryan, and leads the Corporate, Commercial, Mergers and Acquisitions, Tax and Estate Planning Department. His main areas of practice include corporate, personal and international taxation, wills & estate planning, asset protection, contract negotiations, corporate & commercial law, shareholder agreements & disputes, buyouts, acquisitions, sales and mergers.
With more than 30 years of experience in these fields, he has served as legal counsel to clients over many years, establishing and maintaining close, personalized relationships. Mtre Ravinsky has lectured at McGill University at the Faculties of Law and of Engineering, the Canadian Life Underwriters Association, Vanier College and the Barreau du Quebec, and has been a guest speaker for major financial institutions and radio broadcasts on taxation and life insurance matters. He has also sat on the Boards of Directors of public corporations.
